The previous version was written in Flash which is being phased out and will no longer be supported by Adobe beyond 2020. This development has taken some time to complete primariy because we could not find a suitable video and audio stream that worked on the iPhone and IPad and gave less than 1 second latency. We finally decided on WebRTC which works on the leading browsers: Chrome and Apple's Safari. We will be retaining the Flash version until the end of this year for those bidders that use Internet Explorer or Edge.
