The sofware runs on our fully secured web servers located at our Global Switch data centre. All bids are recorded using SSL secure pages. The sofware can be fully integrated with your fleet management system or can be run stand alone.

 

 

Simulcast Auctions

Bidsonline has developed a live simulcast bidding system for real auctions. You can log on as a bidder on the internet and bid at the same time as bidders on the auction floor. The Bidsonline system shows you a live webcast of the auction and the auctioneer's voice.

The system has been installed in 8 car auctions and processes over 1000 cars a week.    Fully integrated with our financial and operation system for car auctions:  Carsplus.   The system also allows pre-auction bidding on the internet. Maximum bids are carried forward to the simulcast  or webcast and the system automatically bids on behalf of the bidder.

 

Public bidders can log on just to watch or bid following a credit card authorisation.

 

A bidder needs only one bidder number to bid on all simulcast car auctions run by Bidsonline.  Bidsonline sends a daily email to over 900 registered dealers listing the day's simulcast auctions.  Auction companies receive an email notification each time a dealer registers to accept or decline the bidder for their auction.

The software is connected to up to 8 cameras positioned around a car. The software instructs the cameras to take the photographs, renames the images with the stock number and places them on the web.  This dramatically reduces the time to photograph a car.

A fully integrated operational and financial system for car auctions, car wholesalers and car supermarkets.

 

Designed primarily for car auctions many features of the system suit volume sales of used cars:

 

Transport requests to pickup a vehicle can be entered via AutoFleet, a vendor reporting system.

Buyers at auctions, tenders and car yards can book in vehicles using hand-held devices.  Automatically uploaded via the internet.

Vehicles when they arrive are booked in and inspected using hand-helds.   Inspections can be approved for rectification by the vendor online.  Once approved they are automatically converted to purchase orders for sub-contractors.

Hand-helds are used to track vehicles on and off the site, mark off repairs as they are completed, compile catalogues for auction and weekly stock take checks.

 

Once repaired and detailed the vehicles are taken to the automatic photo bay where up to 8 photographs are taken and uploaded to the company's web site and advertising sites such as Drive.com and Carsales.com

 

Vendors can log onto AutoFleet view pre and post auction reports including sales advices and remittances.  Vendors can book transport requests, approve rectification, enter reserves and release vehicles for sale.

 

Fully integrated with Bidsonline's simulcast and online auctions.  Internet bidders can bid online prior to the auction, the highest bid is carried forward to the simulcast auction.  During the simulcast the system automatically bids on behalf of internet bidders who placed an internet bid. 

 

 

The financial system is fully integrated with the day to day operations.  A separate trust ledger is maintained for consigned vehicles.
